After taking multiple photos of my eyes, I edited each set of three frames into the CMY colour way, alternating the order of the frames so that the eyes all blink at different times. I made the decision to print the eyes onto each page I would be drawing on as I wanted them to appear more placed on top of the drawing.

Thinking about the portraits that the eyes would be placed on top of, I have re-used the staged photographs that align with the idea of traditional portraiture. These images have neutral backgrounds with the subject front facing.

I then played around with the placement of the CMY eyes and made digital renders to give me an idea of what the drawings would look like. Once I was happy with the placement of the eyes, I went and got them printed.
