Figuring Out Measurements

Following from my last post (https://www.laurensimons.art/post/pillar-plans), I thought about the square widths of the proposed pillars and knew that I wanted to keep them somewhat narrow.
Having them narrow should help make them appear visually taller than they are, but I also believe that having them narrower would present the idea of a person standing? Maybe? Hopefully?
Again making this decision to have them narrower is a conscious decision to go easy on my body as I want to limit any risk of another flare up, but in saying that I also feel like it fits into my contextual research of portaiture/figures, facial blindness, ways of seeing, neurodivergent ways of seeing, embodied perspective, etc...
Due to wanting to make the freestanding structures narrower, I then need to be aware of the heights of them as if I make them too tall then I risk the chance of them toppling over. When thinking about this, I also took into consideration a previous thought of being able to peer inside the structure. Varying heights should help combat the limitation of height?
