After being inspired by the combination of two previous drawings (above left), I followed my plan of recreating what I saw.
I decided to use a square canvas to condense the facial features together within the space, and also varied the sizes of the features slightly bringing a sense of oddity to the image. I also wanted to bring back my CMY colour scheme as I found that utilising these few ideas together could work really well building up transparent coloured layers.
As I used cyan and magenta for the facial features, I brought the yellow in as a simplified silhouette in hopes of bringing the visual components together.

Creating a body of work I have started two other paintings using the same plan and ideas but with a rotation of the colours. Essentially having a series of three paintings. The first with a yellow silhouette, the second with a cyan silhouette (left), and the third with a magenta silhouette.
