Drawing Update

Using chalk pastel I have done a first layer to place the mid-tones and get an idea of the dark shadow placements. Using a pencil and eraser, I have added in some rough details to help with the clarity of smaller areas such as nostrils, hair strands, and the shape of the lips.



I have taken a video of the Samoiloff effect in action. I have projected the RGB light onto the drawings in their current state to not only see the effect work, but to also see which areas of the drawings need to be built up a bit.

Note: The video taken has been converted into greyscale as taking photos/videos of the Samoiloff effect in use is very difficult due to the lighting affecting the capabilities of the camera. This video also only shows two out of three frames of a blinking eye.
